SafeSend Returns and SurePrep announced an integration of their tax return solutions to streamline the 1040 assembly and delivery process.

SafeSend Returns, which provides paperless assembly and delivery software, will integrate with SurePrep’s TaxCaddy, a tax prep automation and organization solution. The systems will work together on an online dashboard that will display tax returns; a calendaring system of payment dates, amounts due and payees; and alerts and notifications for CPAs and clients.

The CEOs of both companies are hosting a free webinar June 7 to explain the integration, and live demonstrations will be available at the American Institute of CPAs’ Engage conference in Las Vegas from June 9 to 14.

“CPA firms are hungry for solutions that improve the tedious tasks associated with 1040 returns,” said Steve Dusablon, CEO of SafeSend Returns, in a statement. “The marrying of SafeSend Returns with TaxCaddy is not only automating those processes, it is improving morale in the firms, and providing visibility to both the CPA and their clients that has never been available until now”

“Automation is at the top of everyone’s mind and the integrated combination of TaxCaddy and SafeSend Returns provides the most streamlined 1040 process in the tax and accounting profession,” stated SurePrep CEO David Wyle. “The old paper-based processes are costly, outdated and inefficient. We are transforming the way tax returns are completed and moving the needle on true automation.”

The webinar, Award Winning Innovations in 1040 Technology, will be eligible for CPE credit and held June 7 at 11 a.m. PST.
