Sage debuts data and analytics platform

Sage has introduced a data and analytics product in the U.S. and Canada built around its Sage 100 and 300 accounting software.

Sage Data & Analytics (SD&A) is a business intelligence toolkit with built-in artificial intelligence and machine learning. It provides live sales dashboards, graphic cash flow analysis, profit and loss reports, and more.

Driven by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses in the U.S. have been hankering for increased data capabilities, especially around forecasting. Sage developed the software with the help of Zap, a software company that makes data and analytics software optimized for different ERP systems. SD&A is available as a subscription service for Sage 100 and Sage 300 and is entirely cloud hosted, whether the customer is using an on-premise or a cloud version of Sage 100 or Sage 300.

“With this launch, we’re meeting the increasing demand for powerful and insightful reporting at a time when collecting, organizing and presenting accurate data is more important for businesses than ever,” said Dewey Forrester, vice president of North America business development at Sage, in a statement.

SD&A is available via the Sage Marketplace.
