Sage ERP X3 business process management software for midsized distributors and manufacturers now integrates with Sage Exchange.

Sage Exchange is Sage’s Payment Card Industry-certified payments technology. The integration with the enterprise resource planning software gives X3 versions 5 and 6 users the ability to process credit and debit card transactions that automatically post into their X3 system.

The new Sage X3 credit card interface is designed to help businesses streamline their payments process; increase order and payment accuracy; and accept bank card payments in a secure, integrated environment.

“With businesses under increasing pressure to reduce costs, while improving efficiency, seamless integration between payment processes and back-office accounting can both improve an organization’s cash flow and reduce, or even eliminate, manual data entry and the risk of errors,” said Skip Hulme, senior product manager for Sage ERP X3. “Also, in the current economy, giving customers the option to pay for goods and services with a credit card may help close a sale.”
