Sage Launches HR Management System for Accpac

Sage Software recently launched Sage Accpac HRMS, a new human resources management system for Sage Accpac ERP and Sage Pro ERP users.

Based on the company’s Sage Abra HRMS, the latest version is designed specifically for small and midsized businesses -- offering attendance and training modules for HR management, benefits administration, information tracking, reporting and legislative compliance.

HRMS also includes job description information, flexibility in defining employee seniority for attendance purposes, additional options for tracking vacation time and step rates. The system also features integration with Sage Payroll Services for U.S. companies and an optional link to ADP Canadian payroll services.

“HR management can be difficult for many small companies, and staying compliant with increasing complex laws and complex compensation models consumes way too much time and effort for many HR professionals,” said Sage Accpac vice president and general manager Craig Downing, in an e-mail. “This solution moves much of the laborious transaction processing 'into' the system … Many clients will find that moving to Sage Accpac HRMS will free them of much of the tactical work, while enabling them to spend more time on higher 'value' activities.”

Additionally, HRMS also includes Accpac Workforce Connections and the new Sage Accpac eRecruiter module that aims to help HR professionals in expanding and improving their Internet recruiting strategies.

Sage Accpac HRMS is now available, with a suggested retail price of $650 in the United States. More information is available at www.sageaccpac.com/products/humanresourcemanagement.
