Sage to Deliver SalesLogix CRM Suite on Amazon

Sage North America will offer Sage SalesLogix CRM Suiteto North American users via the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2)infrastructure by June 2010, after which it will be expanded to other regionsworldwide.

 

Leveraging Amazon EC2, Sage is looking to providecustomers with flexible deployment and user access, as well as customer dataownership, customer control over the timing of upgrades, and reduced ITmanagement and hardware costs, according to Joe Bergera, executive vicepresident and global general manager for Sage CRM Solutions.

 

"The Sage SalesLogix CRM Suite on Amazon EC2 helpsreduce IT requirements for small and midsized businesses and accelerates theirCRM implementations with complete upgrade control and extensive customizationcapabilities," said Bergera. "Amazon Web Services allows us to ensureour customers' data is secure and enables integration with on-premisesapplications, as well as the cloud-based services we are beginning tooffer."

Users can access Sage SalesLogix on-premise and on-demandwith desktop, Web and mobile interfaces.
