Sage Upgrades Pro ERP

Sage Software introduced Sage Pro ERP 7.5, an updated version of its business management software for small and midsized businesses.

Drilldown options are available in more reports in Version 7.5, providing expanded access to invoices, purchase orders and sales orders. Users can also tie custom drilldowns to reports to get access to key information.

Users can now remotely manage their customers and vendors using an improved dashboard tool that offers access to customer and vendor files via the Internet. The enhanced dashboard can perform any of the newly available customer- or vendor-related inquiries, such as payments, receivables, invoices and orders.

Sage Pro ERP 7.5 also offers a Landed Cost feature for more accurate inventory valuation of imported goods. Also included are job cost integration with the manufacturing modules, integration between Sage Pro Credit Card Processing and Sage Payment Solutions Gateway to better handle customers’ credit card payments, and improved program file security, with the ability to restrict access by user to specific program files.

New enhancements in the manufacturing modules include a work-in-process release to general ledger feature that helps maintain accurate inventory counts within the Sage Pro system. The software comes in two editions. Sage Pro 100 ERP 7.5 costs $995 per module or $1,195 per user, while Sage Pro 200 ERP sells for $1,995 per module or $1,295 per user.
