Sage Vet Ellertson Joins Net@Work as New Director

Top Sage North America partner Net@Work has hired recently departed Sage CRM sales executive Seth Ellertson as its new director of client care and inside sales.

In his new role, Ellertson will manage Net@Work’s client care team to help ensure that clients have timely access to the company’s technology solutions and services portfolio.

Ellertson will replace Mike Fitzgerald, who has held the position since Net@Work acquired his company, The Fitzgerald Group, in April 2010.

Fitzgerald will stay on until the end of the year to work with Ellertson and aid his transition, at which time Fitzgerald will work with an outside consultant for Net@Work.

“[Ellertson] has a broad and deep knowledge of Sage’s business solutions and the real-world challenges today’s businesses face,” said Net@Work co-president Alex Solomon. “I can think of no one more qualified to succeed Mike Fitzgerald, who spent the past two years architecting and developing a scalable and effective client care team. Ellertson’s] leadership ability, coupled with the platform that Mike built, will put our client care team in position to deliver solutions that best meet the always-changing needs of our clients.”

Early October marked the departure of a vice president and three directors in the Sage CRM sales management team, including VP Jeff Gregorec, Ellertson, and directors Jeffrey Woods and Robert Fierros. Ellertson spent the past 13 years with Sage, and was most recently responsible for all customer relationship management revenue for Sage in eastern North America, including new sales and sales to the company’s installed base.

“Since accepting this position, I’ve had the opportunity to see up close their recipe for success: expanding their footprint-and their talent base- through strategic acquisitions, while remaining nimble and close to their customers,” said Ellertson. “Net@Work has a unique value proposition in the channel community, offering a full portfolio of business applications--ERP, CRM, HR--while providing related IT services, including infrastructure support and web development. I look forward to joining the Net@Work team and building on all that Mike [Fitzgerald] has achieved in giving our clients the most responsive and comprehensive service in the industry.”
