Savant Capital Management Appoints New CFO

Daniel Rezin has been appointed as the chief financial officer of the fee-only wealth management firm Savant Capital Management. Rezin will run the compliance and financial departments and will assist with merger and acquisition opportunities.

Savant’s most recent M&A activity took place in April, when it agreed to merge with the Washington, D.C.,-based financial planning firm, The Monitor Group. Savant now manages more than $2.7 billion in assets and has offices in Illinois, Wisconsin and Virginia.

Prior to Savant, Rezin was a general manager at Amphenol Corporation, a multibillion dollar publicly traded electronic and fiber optic manufacturing company.  Prior to Amphenol, he was a partner at the accounting firm McGladrey & Pullen for 11 years. During his time at the firm, Rezin provided business and tax advice to privately owned manufacturing and distribution companies.
