Schenck Merges in Rajek Grimm

Wisconsin accounting firms Schenck SC and Rajek, Grimm & Associates have combined, expanding Schenk’s footprint to the central part of the state.

The staff members and owners of Wausau-based Rajek Grimm joined Schenck, effective July 15, giving Schenck a ninth office. Rajek Grimm focuses on providing tax and accounting services to family owned and privately held businesses in central Wisconsin. The six employees there will continue to work at their current location. Rajek Grimm has been led by two principals, CPAs Steve Rajek and Tom Grimm. “Joining with Schenck allows us to offer our current and future clients expanded service offerings, especially in meeting their needs for audits and specialty services,” Rajek said in a statement.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Appleton, Wis.-based Schenck had planned to expand to the central part of Wisconsin for some time and the two firms had worked together there in the past, according to Schenk president Bill Goodman.

“We have had a good working relationship with Rajek Grimm for a number of years,” Goodman said. “Their professionals firmly share Schenck’s core beliefs and strategies. We are pleased to be uniting with them in the central Wisconsin market.”
