Schneider Downs Brings on Logan as Shareholder

Eugene (Gene) Logan has joined Schneider Downs as a shareholder in the firm’s tax advisory practice.

Logan will also focus on the firm’s “rapidly expanding” not-for-profit practice, where he will boost services in the public charity and private foundation sector.

Logan has more than 27 years of experience providing tax consulting and compliance services, having served clients ranging from civic, arts and cultural organizations, community and private foundations, social service agencies to mid-size manufacturers and energy enterprises.

“Gene Logan is well-recognized in our community for his extensive knowledge in all aspects of tax accounting and consulting,” Schneider Down’s Tax Advisory Services chairman Paul Matvey said in a statement. “Adding Gene to our practice unit is a great asset in our firm’s efforts to continue providing our clients with new ideas, insights and opportunities.”

Logan earned his B.A. in accounting from Grove City College. He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institute for Certified Public Accountant and serves as chairman of the Region Advisory Board for the Arthritis Foundation.
