TaxExact, a cloud-based tax verification tool, is now available to tax professionals.
The 2021 tax season will be as unusual as last year's, with many preparers working in a remote setting due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Cloud technology has become especially important in this context.
Designed to improve the Form 1040 review process, TaxExact works with existing tax software to verify results of the tax return. The software was designed by Pat Roberts, founder of TaxExact, to improve his own tax workflow at his firm.
“I created this tool for my own firm to use when I started it eight years ago, because I needed a way to shorten my final review time and oversee workflow” said Roberts in a statement. “Implementing TaxExact into my tax practice led to exponential growth and our ability to launch new, profitable advisory services we wouldn’t have had the time for otherwise.”
TaxExact is touted to reduce review time; provide visibility into the workflow and status of all 1040 forms a firm is handling; and develop staff’s understanding of Tax Code.
