SMARTVAULT BOOSTS ITS PORTAL, NOW WORKS WITH QUICKBOOKS ONLINE

Houston -- Cloud-based document management service provider SmartVault has added key enhancements to its client portal, and is also now integrated with QuickBooks Online.

SmartVault's client portal users can now view a variety of file types instantly, including Microsoft Office documents, PDFs, Outlook e-mail messages, and more than half a dozen other graphic file formats.

In addition, SmartVault's Toolbar technology for QuickBooks has been extended to support the popular accounting package's online version. The integration allows QuickBooks Online users to attach and view source documents such as receipts, bills and invoices directly from within QuickBooks Online.

 

PAYCHEX BUYS EXPENSE REPORT SOULUTIONS VENDOR

Rochester, N.Y. -- Payroll and human resource services provider Paychex Inc. has purchased expense report automation product maker ExpenseWire from Rearden Commerce Inc. for an undisclosed sum.

Paychex first partnered with Rearden in October 2008 when ExpenseWire was selected to power Paychex Expense Management, a Web-based offering that provides clients with tools to readily manage and control the expense reporting process, including approval, reimbursement and reporting.

The acquisition is geared toward allowing Paychex to further enhance its Paychex One-Source workforce product suite, as well as add a development and client service team with knowledge of the expense management market.

 

COUPA AND OB10 PARTNER ON ELIMINATING PAPER INVOICES

London/San Mateo, Calif. -- Cloud-based spend optimization product maker Coupa Software and electronic invoicing network OB10 have formed a strategic partnership that will provide Coupa customers with seamless integration to eliminate the need for paper invoices.

As a result of the partnership, invoices from suppliers' billing systems will flow into Coupa's cloud product, with the goal of reducing invoice processing time and costs.
