Roger Thompson, CPA, FHFMA, has been named managing partner of Nebraska CPA firm Seim Johnson LLP.

He succeeds Tom Schnack, who has been MP since 2005, and will be the firm's fifth MP since its founding in 1975.

With clients primarily in the health care and nonprofit industries, Thompson has focused on audit, accounting reimbursement work since joining the firm in 1981. He has also served as chair of the firm's Audit & Accounting Department.

"We have been able to accomplish many great things as a firm under the leadership of Tom Schnack, including the implementation of a new firm management structure, as well as our recent relocation to spectacular new office space," said Thompson. "I am excited about my new leadership role in the firm and see many great opportunities for the firm to continue its growth and success in the upcoming years."
