Using both online and offline technologies, CFO Alliance gathers more than 3,000 CFOs, vice presidents of finance, accounting and finance directors, and other senior financial leaders and executives together for bimonthly roundtables in 13 markets around the U.S., via live-streaming, dial-in and video conferencing. The discussions are posted online for future reference.  The partnership announced Tuesday between UHY and CFO Alliance will provide a national, collaborative forum for finance leaders and experts to openly discuss, debate and dissect opportunities.

The two organizations are creating a think-tank environment for the middle-market finance sector. UHY and CFO Alliance will be working with academics and other leaders, including Fordham University Business School, to help facilitate the roundtables.

“Uncertainty in the markets has impacted our nation’s recovery,” said UHY Advisors metropolitan area managing director Michael Mahoney in a statement. “We’ve seen momentum tempered by pull-back in the middle market, and we believe this partnership is one way that UHY Advisors NY can do its part to fuel improved confidence and performance within this economically vital sector.”
