UHY Advisors and UHY LLP have merged in the professional services firm Del Conte, Hyde, Annello & Schuch, P.C., based in Farmington, Connecticut, effective May 1, 2018.

UHY, based in Chicago, has been expanding in Connecticut in recent years, growing its practice in West Hartford in 2016 with the acquisition of Pratesi, Salemi & Company. The addition of Del Conte will bulk up UHY’s staff offering accounting, tax planning and consulting services in Connecticut. In January, UHY expanded in Raleigh, N.C., with the acquisition of Bright Point Consulting.

“We are pleased to welcome the highly experienced team at Del Conte, Hyde, Annello & Schuch, P.C. to the UHY network as we expand in the Connecticut market,” said UHY Advisors chairman and CEO Anthony P. Frabotta in a statement. “Their addition is part of UHY’s organic growth in the Northeast and allows us to bring UHY’s signature brand of service to businesses and organizations in the Greater Hartford area.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. UHY Advisors ranked 32nd on Accounting Today’s 2018 list of the Top 100 Firms, with over $140 million in annual revenue and more than 75 partners.

Del Conte’s partners and associates are expected to continue in their roles, and the firm’s office will remain in its current location in Farmington.

“There is exceptional talent, skill and integrity that resides among this highly acclaimed group of CPAs and business consultants,” said UHY Advisors Northeast regional leader Michael Mahoney.
