UHYI Chairman Calls it Quits

John Wolfgang, co-founder of UHY International, has stepped down as chairman of the global organization.

Wolfgang helped to launch the international accountancy network more than 25 years ago. The network has grown to connect almost 260 cities across 87 countries.

Wolfgang, who is a managing director at UHY Advisors in New York and a partner in UHY LLP, took on the role as chairman at UHYI in 2007.

“John and I have worked together for four decades,” UHY Advisors NY President and CEO Richard Kotlow said in a statement. “He is a true visionary, and has served an instrumental role in spearheading growth among the UHY family of firms across the globe. I am grateful for John’s leadership and friendship over the years, which has enabled UHY clients to steadily keep pace with globalization trends.”

For now, Wolfgang will stay on UHYI’s board and will continue to work on a limited basis for UHY Advisors NY.
