Accounting firms Hayflich & Steinberg PLLC, of Huntington, W.Va. and Grigoraci, Paterno & Associates of Charleston, W. Va., have agreed to become one.

The merger will allow the combined firm to gain access to a wide assortment of technical skills in tax and accounting services, business management as well as financial and consulting services.
Hayflich& Steinberg has approximately 35 employees, who will remain with the firm. Grigoraci, Paterno & Associates' 14 staff members will also stay on board. In addition, the firm plans to launch a new website reflecting the newly combined firm before the end of the year.
Prior to the merger, the two firms were members of the international association of independently owned accounting and consulting service firm, BDO Seidman Alliance. The combined firm will remain a member of the association.
