Max Koss joins Warren Averett LLC as director of international tax.
Koss’ new position comes a few weeks after he merged his practice with Warren Averett. The deal closed on Jan. 16, 2014.
“International tax matters are of concern to a growing number of the businesses we serve,” said Jim Cunningham, Chief Executive Officer of Warren Averett. “With the addition of Max Koss’ leadership and expertise to the Firm’s International Tax Group, we’re strengthening our ability to manage international reporting obligations and tax exposure for our clients.”
Koss has worked in the accounting profession for nearly 27 years and international tax for 24 years. He also has experience working in national firms, including a two-year rotational assignment with KPMG's US Corporate Tax Group in London, England.
Koss is a former International Tax Committee Chair of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
