IMGCAP(1)] Robert Henry has joined the independent accounting firm Weaver as a partner in the firm’s San Antonio tax and strategic business services practice.
Prior to Weaver, Henry worked at Ernst & Young as a tax account leader and was the firm’s national telecommunications industry resident.
Henry’s specializes in assisting large and mid-size companies with income tax compliance, implementation of complex tax-planning strategies and representation before the Internal Revenue Service. Over the years he worked with a range of companies, from Fortune 100 to family-owned businesses, in the technology, oil and gas, telecommunications, construction and engineering and manufacturing industries.
In his new role, Henry will lead Weaver’s practice in research and development tax credits in addition to serving the ongoing tax needs of his clients.
Henry is a member of the AICPA and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his Master of Science degree in accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Trinity University.
