WebCPA and Accounting Todays parent company SourceMedia has signed a strategic partnership with iLumen to offer a new online resource that will allow CPAs and other accounting professionals to monitor the financial performance of their business clients through an automated client analytics and business intelligence portal.
The secure subscription-based portal will allow accountants to extend the trusted advisor relationship with their clients and help them deliver new benchmarking services to small and mid-market businesses.
The WebCPA Client Connection is expected to launch in the fall of 2010 and will be delivered as an affordable subscription-based service so that any CPA or accounting professional can enable as few as one client or as many as all of their business clients on the system.
The initiative will also provide accountants with analytical assessment reports from small business service providers, allowing a CPA to evaluate the specific financial impact that a recommended service can have on the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow performance of their clients. The system will leverage iLumen's service recommendation engine to provide business and financial services to accountants and their business clients in a professional and confidential environment.
