Charleston, West Virginia-based Gray Griffith & Mays acquired Lambright & Gutta, effective as of Sept. 2.
Lambright & Gutta is based in Morgantown, West Virginia, and specializes in accounting and tax preparation for individuals, small businesses and corporations. The deal expands GGM's footprint in the state.

"This acquisition is a natural fit for both firms," Ryan Lindsay, a director at GGM, said in a statement. "By combining our resources and shared commitment to client service, we can provide an even greater depth of specialized expertise and financial guidance to businesses and individuals throughout West Virginia and beyond."
As part of the transaction, Kimberly Gutta, a partner at Lambright & Gutta, will join GGM as a director.
"I am excited about this next chapter and the additional value we will be able to provide our clients that have entrusted us with their financial and business needs over the years," Gutta said in a statement. "This acquisition reflects our commitment of continuing to provide thoughtful advice and exceptional service that our clients deserve."
