Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based Trout CPA acquired Schiff & Associates, expanding the firm's dental advisory practice.
Schiff & Associates, based in Towson, Maryland, specializes in dental practice accounting, tax and advisory. The firm will operate under the name Schiff Dental CPAs by Trout CPA. The deal expands Trout's presence in the dental practice industry and grows its presence in the Mid-Atlantic region. Following the deal, Trout will have 180 employees, including 21 partners.

Optimum Strategies CEO Ira Rosenbloom served as strategic advisor to Trout on the transaction.
