WebsterRogers Names New MP for 2012

Debra A. Turner, CPA, has been named the incoming managing partner of Florence-based accounting firm WebsterRogers LLP. She will succeed V. Carroll Webster, CPA, on Jan. 1, 2012.

"I am honored to have been elected as managing partner," Turner said. "As always, we will continue our commitment to provide outstanding service to our clients, expand our service offerings and position the firm for future growth."

Turner joined the firm via a merger in 2000 and was elected to the firm's Executive Committee in 2008. She has served as partner-in-charge of the Lowcountry Economic Unit that now includes the Charleston and Summerville offices since 2000, and provides tax planning and consulting to clients, primarily in the health care industry.

A graduate of the College of Charleston, Turner has served on the South Carolina Board of Accountancy for six years, including a stint as chair, and has also served as president of the South Carolina Association of CPAs.

As part of WebsterRogers' succession plan, Webster will remain with the firm in a consulting capacity. In his 27-plus years as MP, he presided over the firm's expansion from one office to eight throughout South Carolina, with a total staff of over 125, including 21 partners.
