Wesling Elected Chair of Texas Society

Donna Wesling has been elected chairman of the Texas Society of CPAs for a one-year term.

The owner of her own firm in Austin, Wesling has a long history of service to the society, which named her Young CPA of the Year for 1986-87. Over the course of her involvement with the TSCPA, she has served a total of 22 years on its board of directors, and five years on the Executive Committee and Executive Boards, including a term as secretary. In addition, she was appointed three times to act as chair of the society's Continuing Professional Education Council.

Wesling holds a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University, and started her career at local CPA firms in Bryan and Austin.

The TSCPA is one of the largest state CPA societies in the country, with 20 local chapters and 28,000 members.
