Accounting firm Wiss & Co. has created an economic advisory group to help business owners and executives deal with the recession.

The regional accounting firm, which is headquartered in Livingston, N.J., and has offices in Iselin, N.J., and New York City, said that the group would provide strategic advice to business owners, CEOs and CFOs to help them respond to current challenges and take advantage of future opportunities.

The Wiss Economic Advisory Group, led by partner Anthony Calascibetta (pictured), will draw on the expertise of the firm’s corporate recovery, litigation/valuation, accounting, tax, and industry specialists.

The group will also help business owners assess their customer, supplier and banking relationships, and assist with cash flow management and forecasting, and inventory management.
