WTAS Adds E.M. Bossin & Co.

WTAS has merged with Houston-based E.M. Bossin & Co.

Texas has been a primary part of WTAS’s growth strategy. "We added an office in Dallas earlier this year, and establishing a Houston location was just a matter of identifying the right players to provide best-in-class solutions,” WTAS CEO Mark Vorsatz said in a statement. “The team at E.M. Bossin & Company is a great fit for WTAS and bolsters our presence both in the central region and nationally."

WTAS now has offices in 16 major cities in the U.S. and has an international presence in Europe through WTAS Global.

Elliot Bossin, who founded E.M. Bossin & Co. in 1991, will join WTAS as managing director. Bossin started his career at Arthur Andersen and built E.M. Bossin & Co. into a team of 11, all of whom join the Houston office of WTAS. E.M. Bossin & Co. provides tax consulting, accounting and related financial planning to privately held businesses and high net worth individuals.

"Joining WTAS is a wonderful opportunity for our firm," Bossin said in a statement. "We've developed a strong practice in Houston and aligning with WTAS is a vital step in continuing to provide the highest quality solutions to our clients and the best development opportunities to our professionals."

Bossin has more than 40 years of experience in tax consulting and compliance in a number of areas including estate and family tax, real estate, oil and gas and corporate tax. He is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs.
