Xero announced it has released payroll for Pennsylvania, bringing the total number of states where the cloud accounting software company ships payroll to 22.
States where the fully integrated service is now available include California, Texas, Georgia, New York and Florida, and Xero aims to provide for all 50 states in the next 12 months.
“Over 190,000 small businesses in Pennsylvania employ at least one employee – and Xero is truly excited to provide an accounting and payroll solution that will not only make running their business much easier but also make them much more efficient,” stated Xero U.S. president Russ Fujioka.
All payroll calculations are taken care of automatically so small business owners can pay their employees through direct deposit or with instant paychecks, with timesheets included at no extra costs. The platform also offers reminders for when small business owners need to file and pay payroll taxes, with Xero soon supporting electronic filing and payments.
