Xero Releases Content Pack for Microsoft Power BI

Xero has released its content pack integration with Microsoft Power BI, software that organizes data visually.

The new content pack gives customers access to analyze their own small business data based on 25 pre-built tiles. The tiles display data such as relevant revenue versus expenses, profit loss trend, debtor days and return on investment in an interactive dashboard setup.

“Business tools today are smarter and more connected than ever and finally available to the small business sector,” said Xero’s general manager for global strategic partnerships James Maiocco in a statement. “We’re delighted to further integrate with Microsoft Power BI to give our users enterprise-ready tools to analyze information from Xero to make smart, informed decisions.”

“Microsoft Power BI enables customers to get the most out of their data by analyzing live updates, giving them the ability to see what’s going on in their business and identify trends as they are evolving,” Microsoft’s corporate vice president of business applications, platform and intelligence organization James Phillips added. “Together Xero and Microsoft give small businesses the tools and insights to make real-time decisions that will help them grow their business.”
