BKD honors PRIDE of two employees with annual award

CPA and advisory firm BKD chief executive officer Neal Spencer bestowed this year’s PRIDE Awards to Don Hutson, national industry partner for BKD National Financial Services Group, and Chris Lindner, supervisor in the firm’s Lincoln, Neb., office.

The firm’s annual honor is given to one partner and one employee who live the firm’s five PRIDE values of passion, respect, integrity, discipline and excellence.

BKD partners and employees nominate their peers for the award and winners are chosen by the BKD governing board.

With more than 30 years experience in the financial services industry, Huston oversees a team of more than 200 advisors in the St. Louis office. Lindner is an audit supervisor in the firm’s national not-for-profit and government group with more than six years of public accounting experience.

“Don and Chris are truly an inspiration to their clients and co-workers,” Spencer said in a statement. “Don inspires his colleagues with his work ethic, professionalism and passion, and Chris is known firm-wide for his hard work, technical expertise and client service skills. Congratulations to these individuals for earning the firm’s highest honor. They deserve special attention for their big-time contributions.”

Huston and Lindner will receive their awards in a ceremony during BKD’s annual leadership conference in Indianapolis late September.
