BlumShapiro announces next Thanksgiving Food Basket Campaign

New England accounting and consulting firm BlumShapiro announced it will partner for another year with Christian Community Action to provide Thanksgiving Day meals to more than 2,300 families and seniors in New Haven.

The community-wide BlumShapiro Thanksgiving Food Basket Campaign for Christian Community Action will collect non-perishable food items and financial contributions. Volunteers will help bag all donated items for distribution to families and seniors right before the holiday.

“For the second consecutive year, BlumShapiro is very proud to partner with Christian Community Action to help bring a full traditional dinner to the Thanksgiving Day tables of more than 2,300 families and seniors in New Haven,” stated chief marketing officer Tom DeVitto. “BlumShapiro employees and our families look forward to partnering with other businesses, individuals, schools, churches and civic groups in this community wide effort to help other families have a festive and fulfilling Thanksgiving Day.”

The campaign will collect non-perishable food items and monetary contributions from Oct. 1 through Nov. 19 via collection boxes and online at www.ccahelping.org.
