EY, the official professional services provider of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, announced this week that they will host a number of events during this year's Summer Games, as part of the firm's Building a Better Working World campaign.

This year, EY will be working with the World Olympians Association and the Women Athletes Business Network (WABN). The former is a member organization focused on supporting Olympic athletes transitioning to a life outside of competition, while the latter, started in 2013 by EY, looks to "support elite female athletes in advancing their careers beyond competitive sport by recognizing the critical role sport plays in preparing women for leadership roles," per a statement.

EY will host their events at the Olympians Reunion Centre by EY in Rio. Planned sessions include:

August 4: Olympians Reunion Centre by EY Opening Gala – 4:00-7:00 pm, Olympians Reunion Centre by EY

  • WOA Patron HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco will join EY Global Chairman and CEO Mark Weinberger and WOA President Jo'l Bouzou along with a number of Olympians and VIPs at a special celebration to officially open the Olympians Reunion Centre by EY.

August 10: Women. Fast Forward – 5:00-8:00 pm, Olympians Reunion Centre by EY

  • This event will celebrate the advancement of women in sport enabling guests to meet top Olympians, influential leaders within the Olympic Movement, and female business executives as they gather to recognize the achievements of some of the world’s most accomplished women in sport.

August 16: Purpose Wins – 5:00-7:00 pm, Olympians Reunion Centre by EY

  • A panel discussion on the purpose that drives the Olympic Movement and the performance of Worldwide Olympic Partners such as P&G and GE. Guests will also hear from Olympian-turned-entrepreneur Fabiola Molina about her transitional experiences.

August 19: Top of Your Game – 10:30 am-12:30 pm, Olympians Reunion Centre by EY

  • EY will host a networking brunch for Olympians and winners of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award in the US and Brazil.
