Florida firm spreads the wealth to local charities

Employees from West Palm Beach, Fla., CPA firm Caler, Donten, Levine, Porter & Veil recently raised more than $4,400 for a variety of causes.

In addition to contributing to the American Heart Association, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Quantum House, which provides a place to stay for families with children in the hospital, 29 employees, family and friends also participated in the Big Heart Brigade’s local Thanksgiving Feast Outreach Project.

For their third year volunteering on the project, one group packaged gravy and another pulled smoked turkey off the bone for a total of 98 hours, helping the organization reach its goal of 100,000 meals donated to the less fortunate.

The firm’s next giving project is the Toys For Tots collection campaign.
