HPG celebrates 30 years with Casual Community Days

North Carolina-based CPA firm Hughes Pittman & Gupton is marking its 30th year in business with charitable outreach through the firm’s 2013 Casual Community Days.

The program allows employees to dress casually on the last Friday of every month in exchange for a financial donation to that month’s featured charity, which are selected though employee nominations.

“As a locally owned and managed firm, it is important for everyone at HPG to invest in the community in which we live and work,” said HPG executive committee member Tim Gupton in a statement. “This philosophy has been a cornerstone of HPG’s culture these past 30 years.”

The nonprofit recipients of the program so far this year include the American Cancer Society, Make-A-Wish and Contemporary Museum of Art Raleigh, among others.
