ICPAS hosts Women's Leadership Breakfast

The Women’s Executive Committee of the Illinois CPA Society is hosting a Women’s Leadership Breakfast Friday, May 17, featuring documentarian and author Dr. Kelly Richmond Pope as speaker.

Pope, DePaul University associate professor in the School of Accountancy, will share her white-collar crime expertise as creator and executive producer of the award-winning documentary Crossing the Line: Ordinary People Committing Extraordinary Crime and co-author of the upcoming The A.B.C.’s of Behavioral Forensics: Using Psychology to Prevent, Detect and Deter Fraud.

The event, at Chicago’s Standard Club, is part of a series of programs established by the committee to enhance the recruitment, volunteerism, retention and leadership of women CPAs through education on important professional issues and expanding their business networks.

Registration for the breakfast, $39 for members/non-members, is available by calling 800-993-0393 and referencing event code C41259 WLB. The event kicks off at 7:30 am.
