The IFRS Foundation announced a free-of-charge online quiz today, available for both students and educators alike. The quiz tests participants on their knowledge of the use of the IFRS, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), as well as the Standards themselves.

Test-takers will be given 10 true or false statements randomly drawn from a pool of 220 questions. Instant grades and answer explanations will be provided back. Additionally, the IFRS Foundation will make the entire 220 set available to accounting educators who are using the IFRS pocket guide as a textbook.

The quiz was developed by former IASB member Paul Pacter. The test mostly draws on content from the recently published IFRS as Global Standards: A Pocket Guide.
