One of the more scenic and challenging charity runs in the tri-state area is returning to Woodland Park, NJ on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015. Presented by
Open to runners of all skill levels, the 4 Miler features a unique 4-mile run on a USA Track and Field Certified (USATF) double-loop race course. A scenic 1.5 mile trail walk is also offered for walkers. Garret Mountain Reservation, a 568-acre landmark overlooking Route 80 in Woodland Park, is located at 288 Rifle Camp Road.
This family-friendly event also includes kids’ dashes and activities for children ages 2 to 11.
Online registrations are now being accepted at www.raceforum.com/garret. SaxBST absorbs all event expenses to donate 100% of the money raised to the Child Life Department, which relies solely on private funding to provide crucial quality-of-life programs and resources to pediatric patients and their families.
The 4 Miler at Garret Mountain has raised more than $165,000 for St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital since its inception in 2012. Individual and corporate sponsorships are once again available and offer a wide range of event day benefits and marketing opportunities.
