Vault.com ranks top 10 accounting internships for 2017

Online career resource Vault.com announced this week their rankings of the Top Internships for 2017, "highlighting the top intern programs across nine industry-specific categories, including accounting.

This past summer, Vault surveyed over 11,000 former and current interns from more than 100 employers. Respondents were asked to review their own internship experiences as well as rate other employers on a scale of 1 to 10  (10 being the highest) to determine the rankings. Vault averaged the rating for each employer and subsequently ranked the companies.

“As everyone knows, an internship is essential to college students looking to advance their careers in a chosen industry,” stated Tara McCaffrey, VP of marketing at Vault. “Companies are looking to recruit top talent before they graduate college and are using internships as the best way to assess potential employees. At the same time, college students view internships as the best way to test-drive their chosen career path. These rankings offer students an opportunity to determine which companies are the best fit for their career goals.”

Vault's Top 10 accounting internships for 2017 were ranked as follows:

1.      Frank, Rimerman + Co. Summer Internship

2.      Elliott Davis Decosimo ENVISION Summer Internship Experience
