VSCPA announces 2013-14 scholarship winners

The Virginia Society of CPAs Educational Foundation awarded 23 scholarships totaling more than $43,000 for the 2013-14 academic year.

The nonprofit foundation awarded the undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and minority scholarships to students enrolled or accepted into an accounting program at a Virginia college or university. Students were also evaluated on overall academic performance, an entry essay, faculty recommendations, and community and extracurricular activities.

The 2013-14 recipients are:
