WeiserMazars participates in second annual 'Days of Service' benefitting local non-profits

Accounting, tax and advisory services firmWeiserMazarsrecently completed their second annual "Days of Service" – a volunteer effort that encourages all firm professionals to spend a full day of work serving the local community and non-profits.

"Days of Service" is part of the firm's "We AreWeiserMazars” program, which looks to "create a positive work environment promoting personal and professional growth via our key values: Association, Respect and Excellence," per the firm's website.

"We are very proud to see the growth this program has had in just one year," stated Kenneth Pogrob, leading partner of "We Are WeiserMazars." "We emphasize the importance of collaboration in everything we do at work. The Days of Service is an opportunity for us to bring the spirit of teamwork and helping others to the world outside of our offices, all while supporting our local communities."

This year, a total of511 professionals, including 68 partners, participated in the program, which was held June 1, 8, and 15. Participants volunteered at 23 community and non-profit programs throughout the New York City area, Long Island, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Sacramento and Chicago.

Activities ranged from sorting food at the Community Foodbank of New Jersey to leading students on a tour around the Metropolitan Museum of Art. New Jersey professionals also threw a "Frozen"-themed party for a young girl at the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
