Ten high school students across the country will receive $2,000 each to continue their accounting studies into college.

Teaching provides an opportunity to give back by transferring knowledge, sharing experiences and offering a practical outlook to people who either will be starting their careers or are at mid career with a desire to advance further.

Four accounting academics were honored for their teaching and research during the 2020 American Accounting Association meeting.

The American Institute of CPAs granted $764,500 in academic scholarships to 150 students as part of its annual program for future CPAs.

Three students, as well as their nominating firms, will receive $10,000 each for representing the "next generation of accountants."

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board announced that 234 U.S. accounting students were selected to receive $10,000 scholarships.
