H&R Block has planned a big money giveaway to lure clients to its offices this tax season.
The tax prep chain announced Monday that 1,000 people will be able to win $1,000 each day during the first month of tax season.
The first drawing will be Jan. 16, with 1,000 people each winning $1,000 a day through Feb. 15, plus a final drawing on Feb. 19. The winners will be announced within a few days of each drawing. A total of 32,000 people are expected to win a combined $32 million, according to Block.
And that’s not counting whatever they win back from Uncle Sam in their tax refunds.
