Thomson Reuters Provides Social Media Visuals for Tax and Accounting Pros

Thomson Reuters has introduced Thomson Reuters Checkpoint Marketing for Firms Social Media Infographics and Fun Facts, with visuals that tax and accounting professionals can use on social media every week.

Infographics and other visuals can help social media posts stand out more and make them more likely to be clicked. Graphics can help a firm market its services more effectively and attract attention in a crowded field. The professionally designed visuals from Thomson Reuters include tips, trivia and professional recommendations tailored to clients. The service is part of Social Media Solutions from Thomson Reuters Checkpoint Marketing.

“Social media marketing is more important than ever,” said Brett Notine, senior vice president of specialty segments with the Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting business, in a statement. Compelling imagery is the best way to ensure clients and prospects stop scrolling and take the time to engage with your posts, but it can be time-consuming to find the right content to share with your audience. This solution saves time by not only providing relevant content written by tax and accounting experts, but also polishing it into striking visual formats that attract attention in a busy newsfeed.”

An annual subscription to the service provides 52 "high design" visuals for social media, according to Thomson Reuters, that will be delivered once a week. It includes a mix of short infographics, visualized lists and pictorial trivia on tax, accounting, business and other finance topics. Firms can also use the images on their own websites, within email newsletters or in other messaging.

Melissa Dean, a marketing communications specialist with Yeo & Yeo CPAs, sees potential benefit in the new service. “Posting without visual content on social media is becoming a practice of the past,” she said in a statement. “Our firm has discovered that eye-catching graphics capture more attention and elicit the highest interaction. Checkpoint Marketing’s new Infographics and Fun Facts subscription will allow firms to easily prioritize visual content relevant to their audiences without requiring graphics expertise, research or development time.”
