IRS Fancies Iggy Azalea with a Second Tax Lien

Singer and rapper Iggy Azalea is reportedly facing a second tax lien from the Internal Revenue Service for $269,980.20 in unpaid federal income taxes from 2015.

The second tax lien, according to TMZ, follows on the heels of an earlier tax lien for $391,056.55 that the IRS filed in April against the singer of “Fancy” for unpaid taxes dating back to 2014 (see IRS Fancies Iggy Azalea with a $391,056 Tax Lien). The 25-year-old Australian rapper’s real name is Amethyst Amelia Kelly.

Back in April, Azalea said she was paying off the tax debt on a monthly basis and dismissed the news about the tax lien. "They exaggerate everything. the IRS gave the option to pay them monthly or lump sum. i picked monthly, who wouldnt?" she tweeted.

Over the weekend, one of her representatives told the gossip site Showbiz Spy that the new tax lien is due to an accounting error. “It is nothing more than an internal accounting error that has already been taken care of,” the rep said.
