The National Society of Accountants (NSA) announced on Monday that 32 students have earned scholarships via the Society's Scholarship Foundation for 2016, totaling $35,300 overall. Since the Foundation's inception in 1969, over $1 million in scholarships have been awarded to undergrad and graduate students pursuing an accounting career.

AffordableSchools.net, an online resource focusing on affordable higher education institutes and academic programs, recently announced their ranking of the 25 Most Affordable Online Masters of Accounting Degrees. American Public University System (Charles Town, W. Va.) was placed first, with the University of Massachusetts-Lowell (Lowell, Mass.) and Western Governors University (Salt Lake City, Utah) taking second and third, respectively.
