Accountants’ Confidence Continues to Slide

The March edition of Accounting Today’s Accountants Confidence Index reveals that the profession has lowered its expectations for growth in the next three to six months.

The panelists on our Executive Research Council responded in February that they expect the U.S. economy as a whole to contract in both the short- and the mid-term. At the same time, they also lowered their expectations for the growth of their own business.
