AICPA Offers Financial Planning Checklist for Tax Clients

The American Institute of CPAs is providing a checklist developed by leading CPA financial planners to help accountants identify financial planning opportunities during tax season.

The checklist aims to help accountants and tax practitioners analyze and identify the main issues to consider when they prepare, review and discuss tax returns with their individual tax clients.

The AICPA is also offering a Roadmap to Developing and Managing a CPA Personal Financial Planning Practice to help accountants formalize their PFP practices and establish a financial planning niche at their firms.

Both members and non-members of the AICPA's PFP Section have access to these resources. Those who are not already members can save $50 off the membership price by joining the AICPA PFP Section and entering the promo code PFPCPALD at checkout to get access to additional resources.
