Bloomberg BNA has published the latest edition of its “Tax Essentials: Individuals” reference as both a printed book and an e-book that can be downloaded from Apple’s iBooks store.

The book provides an annual overview of federal tax issues affecting both individuals and small businesses. It examines fundamental federal income tax principles, organized by topic in a question and answer format, to help practitioners locate the answers to their tax questions. The book includes citations of relevant sections of the Tax Code, Treasury regulations, IRS guidance and case law.

The book is available in print form for $55.  The e-book version costs $12.99 and includes several extra features, including enhanced tables that are viewable on one screen rather than multiple text pages, the ability to bookmark, enter notes, search, and “jump to” navigation from the table of contents. It can downloaded through Apple's iBooks mobile app and viewed on an iPhone or iPad.
