CCH has introduced CCH TaxPlan, a new product on its IntelliConnect online research service that combines tax planning guidance with interactive practice tools to help practitioners with tax planning engagements.
CCH TaxPlan includes explanations covering the business lifecycle from startup to termination, written in plain English with integrated links to supporting source documents.
The product integrates with the CCH Tax Prep Partner form preparation series, to complete the tax planning workflow.
The product also includes hundreds of interactive practice aids that complement the planning workflow and are customizable in Microsoft Word or Adobe Reader. They include client questionnaires, client memos, checklists, client letters, elections & statements, engagement letters, and Transaction Maps, CCHs graphical representations of common transactions, which are customizable using Adobe Reader.
The product also offers access to 25 of CCHs interactive research aids relevant to the business planning process. Also included is an interactive chart comparing how various states treat different business entities. Practice aids and practice tools can be accessed via links in the content, and are also housed within a Smart Chart based application for reference.
