Steve Erickson of Steve Erickson LLC and Philip Whitman, CPA, of Whitman Business Advisors LLC have combined forces to form Erickson Whitman LLC, a consulting company exclusively serving CPA firms nationwide.
Erickson and Whitman said they have spent the majority of their careers actively managing CPA firms, with their collective experience totaling over 50 years guiding CPA firms. New and expanded services at the combined firm will include performance coaching, facilitation, leadership training, performance and profitability consulting, succession and practice continuity consulting, mergers and acquisitions consulting, and strategic talent acquisition and placement services.
"For many years, a major topic at many CPA firm retreats I have facilitated has been succession, transition and practice continuity,” Erickson said in a statement. “Combining practices with Phil will afford CPA firms the ability to work with one organization for their strategic, succession and profitability enhancement planning strategies.”
Whitman, who has spent nearly 20 years running professional service firms, noted, "There is not a team of consultants that have the depth and breadth of experience actually running CPA firms that Steve and I bring together to market."
Erickson Whitman LLC is available across North America, to any size CPA firm in need of growth, continuity or profit improvement support. Erickson Whitman LLC is also planning to build a national network of CPA firm consultants in key geographic areas to better serve the accounting profession by providing best practices and innovative services.
