Houston Firms Announce Merger

Leon & Partners LLP announced that it will become part of neighboring Houston firm MiriFox & Rodriguez PC.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Owner Jacob Leon said that the merger will ensure that he and his handful of staff members can continue to serve clients in a responsive manner, as well as provide them access to the broadened resources and expertise of MFR, which employs more than 70 people.

MFR is one of Houston’s largest locally-owned professional CPA and consulting firms and is one of the largest Hispanic- and women-owned CPA firms in the United States. The public accounting firm’s corporate focus is on bringing value to clients by investing in its people and technology.

Leon also serves as chairman of the Region of the Americas for international business association JHI, which MFR will now join.
